Sant Carles is a beautiful rural village surrounded by fields with its rich red soil. In the 60 stayed in their houses many authentic traditional families hippies who came to the island of Ibiza in search of freedom and peace. I recommend making a stop in this village to taste in a typical pub wich is called Anitas Bar a glass of authentic homemade Hierbas (typical digestive liqueur), on whose porch mailboxes are still used where the locals still collect their mail. His church is one of the simplest of the island and was built in the lates. XVIII. Its peculiarity is its double porch. Near Sant Carles are the beaches of Cala Boix, Es Figueral and Aguas Blancas.
